Bishop Robert E. Guglielmone made the following assignments for priests in the Diocese of Charleston: 

Father Kentigern Aririguzo, MSSCC, is a supply priest in Edgefield until formally assigned to a parish, effective May 6.

Father José Hugo Ruíz Marentes, parochial vicar of St. Mark Church in Newberry, Holy Spirit Mission in Laurens, and St. Boniface in Joanna, is now pastor of the three parishes, effective May 19.

Msgr. William J. Gomes, retired, will serve as supply priest in residence at St. Mary Help of Christians in Aiken, effective June 7.

Father Zbigniew Zielinski, JCD, parochial vicar of St. Gregory the Great Church in Bluffton, will be parochial vicar of Christ Our King Church in Mount Pleasant, effective July 1.
