His Way at Work is a blessing to Catholic business owners

Executives are welcoming the Lord into their power centers, letting Christ take control and launch these companies into high-flying journeys that land at beautiful destinations.

That is what the folks of His Way At Work see happening for many Catholic businesses. And on Jan. 27, St. Mary Magdalene Church in Simpsonville is celebrating a Mass for owners and executives dedicated to consecrating their companies and businesses to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

“The consecration will occur after the Liturgy of the Eucharist,” according to Jo Holt, director of marketing and communications for His Way At Work.

Putting the Eucharist at the center of a company’s frenzied day is an awesome idea, and His Way At Work has been doing this since 2008, she said. It works because this is not just a one-day deal. HWAW offers a follow-up course to help guide executives and employees closer to Christ.

Holt said they have been working one-on-one with owners, leading executives through the class. And, His Way At Work will offer a master class online starting March 28, she said, to help leaders integrate faith-based principles into their work day. The program is designed to nurture a caring culture that honors God and spreads a positive atmosphere with Christ at its core.

HWAW has helped people worldwide to “transform their companies with God’s love,” Holt said. She also said everybody is welcome to register — from small, one-owner, one-employee shops to massive companies with 15,000 employees.

“We are serving business owners at the intersection of faith and business,” Holt said. “We teach them that they can live by faith.”

Kristin Johnson, adult formation coordinator at St. Mary Magdalene, said parishioners heard about this opportunity to help companies. They encouraged leaders to participate by holding the Mass.

“We’re happy to sponsor it,” Johnson said. The consecration Mass will be followed by a reception, allowing executives to mingle and perhaps share about their experiences as Christian employers.

“Bringing Christ into the workplace is not easy these days,” Johnson said.

St. Mary Magdalene and His Way At Work will make it just a little bit easier this month, because with Christ wielding control, all things are possible.

Owners and CEOs can register for the special blessing and Mass at https://hwaw.ticketbud.com through Jan. 15. Visit hwaw.com to learn more about the organization.
