Diocese of Charleston Priest Assignments

 

Bishop Robert E. Guglielmone made the following assignments for priests in the Diocese of Charleston:

Rev. Saleh Diego, parochial vicar at St. Gregory the Great in Bluffton, effective Jan. 28.

Rev. Noel Tria, pastor of St. Peter Church in Cheraw, St. Denis Mission in Bennettsville and St. Ernest Mission in Pageland, with sacramental responsibilities for Bennettsville Federal and Evans State correctional institutions, effective Feb. 17.


EFFECTIVE FEB. 21, 2022

Rev. Raynier Q. Dabu, CRS, administrator of Divine Redeemer Church in Hanahan.

Rev. Msgr. Thomas X. Hofmann, pastor of St. Anthony Church and St. James the Greater Mission in Walterboro.

Rev. Jacob P. Joseph, CMI, pastor of the churches Good Shepherd in McCormick and Sacred Heart in Abbeville, with sacramental responsibilities at McCormick Correctional Institution.

Rev. Jesuprathap Narichetti, pastor of St. Mary Church on Yonges Island and Sts. Frederick & Stephen Mission on Edisto Island.

Rev. Sylvere Baloza, parochial vicar of St. Anne and St. Anthony churches in Florence.

Rev. Johnbosco Duraisamy, becomes pastor of St. Ann Church in Florence in addition to his duties as pastor of St. Anthony Church, Florence.

Rev. Agustin Torm, becomes priest in residence of St. Anthony of Padua Church in Greenville.
