Tax preparation assistance
MOUNT PLEASANT—East Cooper Community Outreach will offer tax preparation and filing assistance for those with low to moderate income on Fridays and Saturdays until April 10 at 1145 Six Mile Road. Bring taxpayer’s picture ID, Social Security numbers for each person on the return, all W-2 statements, 1099s and 1098s, daycare provider expenses for child credit, documents for new car tax credit or to claim new homebuyer’s credit, applicable expense receipts for deductions, both taxpayers if filing jointly. Tuition assistance program
AUGUSTA, Ga.—Aquinas High School will offer the Grace Scholars program, a four year renewable assistance grant that can provide up to 80 percent of tuition for students in public schools. Application deadline is March 19. Call (706) 736-5516.

Catholic Daughters’ courts
