Knights elect new officers
GARDEN CITY—Knights of Columbus Council 8980 recently elected a new slate of officers and held an installation Mass on July 2. The new Grand Knight is Timothy J. McGraw, who replaces Past Grand Knight Gilbert T. Cushing. They also awarded $500 scholarships to a boy and girl who are high school seniors.
Council 9184 donates $5,000 to birthright
TAYLORS—Knights of Columbus Council 9184 presented Birthright of Greenville with a check for $5,000 to help fund their ongoing work supporting women experiencing unplanned pregnancies. The Knights hosted their first annual “Luck of the Irish” Casino Night on April 11 at the Sugar Creek clubhouse in Greer.
