Miscellany wins seven Catholic Press Association awardsJuly 3, 2017 | Deirdre Mays | The Catholic Miscellany  CHARLESTON—The Catholic Miscellany received seven awards from the Catholic Press Association at the annual Catholic Media Convention held in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada, from June 21-23.
The Miscellany competes in the non-weekly diocesan newspaper category with a circulation of 25,001 or more.
The awards are as follows:
- Best Personality Profile, third place, “Artist transforms ordinary into beautiful outreach” by Christina Lee Knauss;
- Best Chart or Information Graphic, third place, “2015 annual financial report” by Caroline Lindsey (see below);
- Best Coverage of Pro-Life Issues, honorable mention, “March for Life promotes ‘forgiveness, grace and mercy’” by Christina Lee Knauss, Amy Wise Taylor and Caroline Lindsey;
